"What you resist, persists. What you accept, transforms."

I help clients use strategies from ACT and Mindfulness to learn how to manage their thoughts and feelings in healthy and helpful ways. I also utilize EMDR when needed to help clients heal from traumatic or difficult experiences that they are struggling to heal from.

Life can be hard, let's figure it out together

Hello! Thank you for coming to my website, I hope to meet you soon! I have been a therapist for the past seven years. I love helping people live a life that they love. I work mostly with adults who are having difficulty with depression, anxiety, pornography addiction, stress, and managing life transitions (ie. starting/stopping college, different types of loss, job change, life decisions and returned LDS missionaries). I use a compassionate nonjudgemental approach that focuses on helping you learn how to calm your mind, clarify and focus on your values, and live the life you want to be living. I am also trained in EMDR and use that when clients are feeling stuck on a negative belief (ie. I know in my head that I am enough but I don't feel that way.) Short (but not short enough) intro that you can skip if you want to: I have a beautiful, funny, and fun wife. We have three kids under the age of 4 (diapers, diapers everywhere) and two dogs. I am an avid fisherman, I love to get out on a river fly fishing in the warmer months and ice fishing in the winter. We love basketball in our family and are currently on the Caitlin Clark bandwagon while we pretend the Utah Jazz are on an extended break. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have an understanding of how religion can be a source of both peace and comfort and also hurt and pain. These things I share with you have been the sources of some of my greatest joys and greatest sorrows. I hope to help you be able to identify what you most enjoy and do it as often as possible while being able to navigate whatever challenges have brought you here (this website). Whether you click on that schedule button or not, I hope you find what you are looking for!
